Five years ago, the world changed for me and millions of other people when on this same day 9/11/2001, first of the twin towers were attacked at 8:46am. Initial moments of shock were converted to horror when second tower was hit. The videos of 9/11 still bring that horror back, but then life does not stop. Following “glass-is-half-full” approach, I believe there is hope for peace and entrepreneurial spirit is still alive. A classic example was observed when Airport authorities banned toothpaste, gels and any liquid on the planes, almost immediately entrepreneurs came up with a business idea to provide services to the passengers by delivering the “banned” goods at the destination airports. The duty-free stores also improvised their operations by providing perfumes and alcohol (two of their most popular items) to their customers at the destination port. My point is: No matter how hard some one tries to hit the financial nerve of our nation, they can slow us for few moments but they will never be able to stop us.
