Change is here. How do we face it?

The inauguration day has come and almost gone. The celebrations will be soon over. Mr. Obama has his work cut out for him. What about us? Will it be business as usual for us? The change is here but the world will not change overnight. What can we do to participate in this change? Here are three simple things I suggest:

  • If you have not visited Change.gov or Whitehouse.gov, do so and check out the Agenda and see how you can help?
  • Try to put few hours towards community work (read an article by Susan J. Elis of Energize Inc.) Also visit USAService.org to find volunteering opportunities in your local area.
  • Love your work and work harder. If you don’t, then consider this: If you won’t do it, there are lots of unemployed people who will gladly do it.

Finally, remember what Obama said about cynics in his speech today. The ground has shifted. It really has!
